Boost Learning Sequim

Our Goal

girl trying to do homework but staring up While we hope to service as many students as possible, families will be selected based on information gathered on the BOOST application forms, a possible follow-up interview and availability of volunteer tutors. We wish to connect our Boost volunteers (who have undergone both Washington State and Federal background checks) with those students who need additional academic support.

Where Are We Located?

The BOOST tutoring center is currently meeting after school at Helen Haller Elementary, in Sequim. Adult volunteers will be available to escort students between the Boys and Girls Club and BOOST. We anticipate tutoring sessions to be approximately 40 minutes from pick up to drop off.

What Does This Look Like?

Depending on the response from families and the availability of tutors, our goal is to have students attend BOOST once or twice per week to meet with a tutor. Session lengths may be adjusted depending on student needs and grade levels.
